We removed a one-piece fiberglass tub-shower unit and upgraded to a traditional mud-bed shower with a beautiful herringbone mosaic floor. All tile is real marble. A wood beadboard ceiling was installed, and tile goes all the way up to it for a rich look and lower maintenance. Clear frameless glass doors will be installed soon, preserving the open feeling of the room.
The entire bathroom was gutted to studs and rewired, plumbed, insulated, and framing corrected as needed. Drywall was replaced, finished and painted. The 1990s vintage tile floor was removed and replaced with marble herringbone mosaic. The original builder-grade vanity was replaced with a new unit with coordinating marble top. New lighting and fixtures throughout
